Drew McGrath is a 2200-hour Registered Massage Therapist with the NHPC (Natural Health Practitioners of Canada). Drew grew up in Calgary and took his massage therapy training at the Foothills College of Massage Therapy back in 1997. He originally had plans to open up his own spa, but after a few years of traveling on cruise-ships as a massage therapist, he became tired with basic relaxation massage treatments; he became more interested in the therapeutic aspects of massage, as he found it very fulfilling treating people with every day aches, pains, and injuries.
Drew’s specialties rest in sports and motor vehicle accident-related injuries, back and hip pain, sciatica, shoulder/neck pain, migraine/headaches, postural and work-related aches, postoperative massage, and pre/post-natal massage. He will always customize your individual treatments and home care plans to your particular needs to help you attain your personal health and lifestyle goals. If you are feeling under the weather with stress or feeling aches and pains draining your energy, Drew will help you relieve muscle tension, help to educate you on how better to treat your body on a day to day basis with stretches and various ways to open up your body to it’s optimum, and create an easy self-care plan to keep your pains and strains at bay.
Drew is a very artistically driven and passionate person finding most of his spare time spent working as a film maker and actor in film and television; he is also a writer, painter and musician.
