Alex Greaves is a Registered Massage Therapist who specializes in a movement therapy called Specific Compensation Reprogramming, which he also developed. Alex is also a Master Ki-Hara Resistance Stretching Practitioner, a Certified Strength Coach (CSCS), and uses fire cupping and Active Release Techniques in his treatments. He graduated from the University of Calgary in 2012 with a Bachelors of Kinesiology, and later continued his education through the 2200-hour massage therapy program at MH Vicars School of Massage, where he graduated with honors.
Alex uses multiple modalities to assist his patients in reaching their goals. Through the use of stretching, muscle activation and massage, Alex has been able to provide relief to many clients suffering from chronic pain. His passion lies most in helping people achieve their true athletic potential through the use of hands on therapy; by re-educating patients about proper biomechanics during movement, he is able to assist in the rehabilitation of injuries and the maintenance of strong functional bodies no matter the age or activity level.
