Are you concerned your child is not walking? Do they have difficulty climbing stairs, jumping with two feet, or maintaining their balance?
A physiotherapist can help develop the skills your child may need to keep up with their peers and engage in physical activities. This can include walking, running, jumping, climbing stairs, balancing, riding a bike and building the skills to live an active lifestyle. This may include kids with gross motor delays, cerebral palsy, ASD, global developmental delays, Down Syndrome, or genetic conditions.
Does your child trip and fall? Does their walking or running not look quite right? Do they walk with a limp or on their tip toes?
A physiotherapist can help assess where these issues are coming from and provide hands on treatment and home strategies to help. This might include building leg strength and coordination using obstacle courses, climbing ladders, and trampolines. We can also provide advice on footwear and orthotics if needed.
Does your child complain of pain after activity? Have they recently suffered an injury? Have they broken a bone or had surgery?
Kids have unique injuries and healing timelines. Their bones and joints are not the same as adults and our experienced staff have the knowledge of how to treat injuries that are specific to kids. We can provide care to reduce pain, improve function, and get back to the activities that kids want to do safely and as quickly as possible.
We’re a team of experienced practitioners so you can be sure that your family’s health is in the best hands.
There is no one I trust more with my daughter than my physio at Peak. She was able to assess my one-year-old in such a playful manner that my daughter now lights up when she sees her. Seeing a physiotherapist has also been really valuable in helping me understand developmental milestones and has been a great source of reassurance when I've had any concerns.

I had knee surgery and then started seeing Kajal to begin my recovery. She built a comprehensive plan to restrengthen my knee, which was easy to follow and implement at home. After following the plan, I was able to return to competitive sport early and with full confidence.

My son loves coming to physio, not only does our physiotherapist make every appointment fun and engaging, but we have seen huge improvements in his confidence on the playground and he is now riding a bike!
