What is Worker’s Compensation Board (WCB)?
WCB is an insurance program paid by employers that covers workplace injuries, including wage replacement, healthcare costs and rehabilitation costs.
What Should You Do If You Experience an Injury at Work?
- Report the injury to your employer and to WCB Alberta right away. Note: there are different forms required if you were involved in a work-related automotive accident, injured outside of the province, or if your injury was progressive in nature.
- Tell your chiropractor immediately so they can report the injury to WCB within the required time frame. The full injury report will then be submitted by your chiropractor at Peak Health & Performance to WCB within 48 hours.
- Seek care as prescribed. Our clinic will always prescribe evidence-based conservative care, effectively getting you back to work if followed directly.
- Progress and final reports are submitted directly by your chiropractor at Peak Health & Performance.
Greatest place ever! One stop shop for all your pain and comfort needs. Jess has helped me soooo much with recovering from knee surgery. This place is super friendly and you feel at home the second you walk through the door

Honestly, by far one of the best clinics I’ve ever attended. From the very moment you walk in it feels comfortable and warm. Everyone is so kind and takes an interest in your recovery and building a connection. If you see someone new they are already up to date on what you last came in for. It’s such a well-oiled machine. Highly recommended! Keep it up guys!

Every aspect of this clinic shouts excellence. Clean, comfortable waiting room, efficient friendly front desk staff and knowledgeable effective practitioners. I recommend this clinic to anyone looking to move and feel better.

I had an excellent experience at Peak Health. Everyone was very pleasant and professional. I would definitely recommend Alyssa as she helped me regain significant movement in my shoulder after an accident. Hopefully I don’t get into anymore accidents, but if I do, I know where I’m going to get it dealt with.

This is the best clinic I have ever attended. I’ve attended for both chiro and RMT and both practitioners have been great! Even the girls at the reception desk are always smiling, helpful and happy to chat or help out. I refer everyone I know! If you need Chiro or RMT, you must go here!

From the moment I walked into Peak I felt completely welcomed and taken care of. The front desk staff was super friendly and helpful. Jess is absolutely amazing! She is not only a wonderful human but a fabulous RMT. She listens to your needs and checks in with you throughout the session. You will walk out of there feeling like a new person!

Peak Health is my go to place to keep my body functioning as it should, all their services are top notch. As a career firefighter I need to keep on top of all the little aches and pains so that I can function when needed, Dr. Durnin and his team help with that. I highly recommend Peak Health & Performance.

Every time I have a nagging injury I visit Peak. Their therapists are so talented and committed to getting me back to doing what I love. They actually fix the issue and aren’t there just to make money and have you repeat visits. So impressed and so happy with this facility.

Extremely helpful, friendly, professional staff. Best place in the city for physio. They've done an incredible job helping me manage three concussions, getting me back on track quicker than I thought possible.
