Taylor Sipos

Physiotherapist

Originally from Georgetown, Ontario, Taylor grew up playing as many sports as possible which inevitably led to many trips to physiotherapy. This exposed Taylor to the world of physiotherapy and led to his interest in applying his sports background to helping others lead active, healthy lifestyles. He completed his Masters of Physiotherapy at Western University in London, Ontario, and his since pursued additional certifications in Functional Dry Needling, Medical Acupuncture and Concussion management and treatment.

Taylor brings years of experience providing knowledgeable and compassionate physiotherapy care to patients of all ages and backgrounds. Prior to moving to Calgary, Taylor worked as an Advanced Practice Physiotherapist at the Toronto Western Hospital where he specialized in expediting care for low back pain patients through faster surgical consultations and coordinated treatment plans.

Taylor takes a patient-centred approach to care, prioritizing his patients’ goals and values in developing individualized treatment plans. He emphasizes the importance of setting activity-based goals to keep patients motivated throughout their recovery journey. Taylor also focuses on patient education, ensuring individuals understand the multifactorial nature of pain and are equipped with self-management strategies and activity modifications to stay active during recovery. He integrates manual therapy, acupuncture/dry needling techniques, and therapeutic exercises to help patients achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.

When Taylor is not treating in the clinic, he enjoys staying active through his many recreational activities (hockey, cross-country skiing, running, golf, etc.), spending time with friends and family and hopelessly cheering on his beloved Toronto Maple Leafs.
