  • Physiotherapist (Masters in Physiotherapy)
  • Bachelor of Arts (Honors Specialization) in Kinesiology

Elitza graduated with her Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Alberta. Prior to completing her Master’s Degree, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology from Western University. Elitza’s interest in physiotherapy peaked when she worked alongside the Western varsity lacrosse team as a trainer, playing a role in on-field injury evaluation and management, and injury prevention.

Elitza is passionate about helping her patients understand their own bodies and injuries through education and by prioritizing movement-based rehabilitation. She enjoys applying strength training principles to her practice and utilizing a hands-on approach such as manual therapy and soft-tissue techniques to supplement therapeutic exercise. With education playing a big role in Elitza’s practice, she will ensure patients leave her sessions with self-management strategies and most importantly, feeling confident in their treatment plan and recovery. Elitza thrives on building strong relationships with her patients and empowering them to take an active role in achieving their unique goals.

Outside of the clinic, Elitza loves living an active lifestyle herself! She can be found strength training in the gym or somewhere in the mountains where she enjoys hiking, mountain biking, and snowboarding. Elitza is eager to keep growing her knowledge base and skills and stay on top of the latest research to better serve those she works with. She looks forward to getting to know you and help get you back to what matters most to you!
