Monica Bautista
Physiotherapist
- Bachelors of Kinesiology
- Masters of Physical Therapy
Monica earned her Master of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Manitoba in 2020. Since graduating, she has developed a well-rounded clinical background, working with adults across a range of settings including post-operative orthopaedic care (hip and knee), neurological and geriatric rehabilitation, and private practice.
After joining the Children’s Hospital of Winnipeg in 2021, Monica discovered a deep passion for working with the pediatric population. She has since supported children from birth through adolescence (0–18 years), and is committed to building strong, collaborative relationships with families to help children achieve their developmental and functional goals. In addition, she has also worked in an outpatient multidisciplinary clinic in Calgary, where she collaborated closely with other healthcare professionals.
Monica brings a broad skill set to her pediatric practice, with experience in developmental milestones, gross motor delays, plagiocephaly and torticollis, cerebral palsy, spinal cord injuries, stroke, traumatic brain injuries, and respiratory conditions.
Originally from Winnipeg, Monica followed her love for the mountains and relocated to Calgary. Outside of the clinic, you’ll often find her exploring the outdoors—she enjoys hiking, snowboarding, and spending time with her dog.
