Our Goal Is To Help You Achieve More
All of our sports clinics provide you with outstanding healthcare to get you back to feeling better, functioning at an optimal level, and performing at your best.
What is Graston and Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Technique (IASTT)?
Graston and IASTT is a form of soft tissue mobilization that is often used alongside Active Release Techniques in Calgary South. Using specially designed stainless-steel instruments, our practitioners identify and break down scar tissue within the musculoskeletal system.
The goal of this treatment method is to stretch connective tissue and muscle fibres. Our practitioners will re-introduce a small amount of trauma to your affected area, temporarily causing inflammation locally, which increases the rate and amount of blood flow in and around the area. This process helps promote the healing process of the affected soft tissues.
