TMJ therapy offers a range of benefits, including relief from chronic jaw pain, reduced headaches and earaches, improved jaw mobility, and a decrease in muscle tension in the face, neck, and shoulders. It can enhance chewing function, reduce clicking or popping sounds in the jaw, and help prevent long-term joint damage. By addressing underlying issues such as teeth grinding or misalignment, TMJ therapy also supports better sleep quality and overall oral health, leading to improved daily comfort and quality of life.

Greatest place ever! One stop shop for all your pain and comfort needs. Jess has helped me soooo much with recovering from knee surgery. This place is super friendly and you feel at home the second you walk through the door

Janelle's techniques with needling and cupping are superior to any physio treatments I have had throughout my life. She treated multiple injuries in my elbow, achilles tendon and ankle that other clinics could not successfully treat or even slightly improve. I was back doing heavy weight training within a few weeks. I had a follow up MRI on my elbow and achilles which also proved rapid recovery from her work. She works in a very efficient manner to maximize each appointment for a speedy recovery. I will never go to any other clinic.

Honestly, by far one of the best clinics I’ve ever attended. From the very moment you walk in it feels comfortable and warm. Everyone is so kind and takes an interest in your recovery and building a connection. If you see someone new they are already up to date on what you last came in for. It’s such a well-oiled machine. Highly recommended! Keep it up guys!

What is TMJ Therapy?
TMJ therapy refers to a range of treatments designed to alleviate pain and dysfunction in the temporomandibular joint (TMJ), which connects the jawbone to the skull. This therapy can include physical therapy, manual adjustments, dental appliances like night guards, relaxation techniques, and lifestyle changes to reduce stress and strain on the jaw. In some cases, it may also involve collaboration between chiropractors, physiotherapists, dentists, and other healthcare providers. The goal is to restore normal jaw function, reduce pain, and prevent further joint damage or complications.
What Happens During a TMJ Treatment?
The process begins with an initial examination by a physiotherapist, where you are taken through a thorough history of your injury, your medical history, and your goals.
This is followed by a physical examination utilizing muscle assessment and movement evaluations.
Diagnosis and a plan of management are discussed along with education on how TMJ therapy can best help treat the condition or act as a complement to other therapies.
